Job Overview
Are you passionate about writing and excited by ground-breaking technology? We are looking for highly motivated people to join Arm and help craft the next generation of Arm technologies Our work influences 95% of the world's connected devices running on Arm, across a variety of industries: from healthcare to smart homes.

We're looking for an expert technical author to lead content projects, mentor teammates, and shape the documentation for Arm's innovative Graphics, Image Signal, and Machine Learning processors. You will work closely with engineering teams and build the user documentation and content that Arm's partners need to make the best use of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a small team of Information Developers.
  • Plan, build, edit, and maintain user-centric content.
  • Advocate for high-quality content that is aligned with user needs and optimized for a global audience.
  • Collaborate with the team and the wider Arm community to improve what we do and how we work.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in writing and people management.
  • Inclusive and collaborative leadership style.
  • Ability to independently lead complex documentation projects and release cycles.
  • Creative problem solver, flexible, and pragmatic in approach.
  • Clear communicator across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Eager to learn about new technologies and evolving documentation practices.

  • Experience of working in the semiconductor industry.
  • Solid understanding of hardware design concepts such as RTL/IP integration, chip bring-up, validation, FPGA prototyping, and so on.
  • Familiarity with modern documentation workflows and tools such as reuse, single-sourcing, DITA, Markdown, and Git.
  • A good degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Physics, Maths, English, Linguistics, or Law.
