Skybod Healthcare Ltd is seeking compassionate and professional live-in carers to provide personalised one-to-one care and companionship in clients' homes.

This is a self-employed opportunity, allowing you to work independently while delivering high-quality, person-centred support that helps clients maintain comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support medication routines and daily wellbeing tasks
  • Prepare meals and assist with light domestic duties
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
  • Assist with mobility and safe movement
  • Accompany clients to appointments, walks, or social activities
  • Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing

Self-Employment Guidance

This position is for self-employed candidates only:

  • You must have or be willing to obtain a UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) from HMRC.
  • If you do not yet have a UTR, Skybod Healthcare Ltd can provide a step-by-step guide to help you register.
  • Candidates on a sponsor visa cannot work as self-employed, and Skybod Healthcare Ltd cannot provide visa sponsorship.
  • Please check your visa or immigration status to confirm eligibility to work as self-employed in the UK.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' care experience (live-in or domiciliary)
  • Self-employed or willing to register
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK and professional references
  • Naturally caring, professional, and reliable
  • Bonus: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or First Aid certification
