Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a leading professional services firm as they continue to enhance their market presence across Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a highly respected organisation with a strong reputation for collaboration, innovation and long-lasting client relationships.

Sitting at the centre of the firm's growth strategy, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders and Partners to deliver impactful business development activity across key "For Life" service areas. You'll support strategic planning, strengthen client engagement, lead profile-raising initiatives and help ensure the firm stands out in an increasingly competitive market.

Expect varied work spanning strategic planning, campaigns, pitches, directories, events and client development.

What you will do:

  • Support Partners in developing and delivering business development plans
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and generate new business
  • Contribute to campaigns across digital, print and events
  • Strengthen brand presence through content, PR and social activity
  • Support pitches, proposals and the development of high-quality collateral
  • Lead directories and awards submissions for relevant practice areas
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver events and sponsorships
  • Use market insights to inform strategy and highlight areas for growth

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in business development, ideally within professional services
  • Builds strong relationships and communicates confidently with senior stakeholders
  • Brings a strategic mindset with the ability to turn insight into action
  • Is proactive, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and influencing outcomes
  • Has an interest in digital channels, campaigns and profile-raising activity
  • Is organised, detail-focused and able to deliver high-quality written materials
  • Is curious, creative and open to continuous improvement
