Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming customer experiences through cutting-edge digital solutions? We're looking for a Digital Product Manager (Industry Development) to join our dynamic team and help us deliver products that make rail travel smarter, simpler, and more connected.
This role is offered on a 12 Month FTC Basis. Interviews will take place in the new year.
In This Role You Will
- Drive Digital Innovation: Developing and managing the roadmap for industry-mandated Web and App enhancements.
- Be Our Industry Voice: Representing Avanti West Coast in Rail Delivery Group workstreams, influencing decisions and assessing technical impacts.
- Turn Ideas into Action: Collaborating with Business Analysts to create robust requirements, manage backlogs, and ensure supplier alignment.
- Own Delivery End-to-End: Leading initiatives from concept to launch, including user stories, test case preparation, and coordination across Agile and Waterfall teams.
- Plan and Inspire: Forecasting resource needs, guide delivery teams, and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.

We're Looking For Someone With
- Industry Insight & Commercial Savvy: Strong knowledge of the UK rail industry and proven ability to apply commercial acumen to digital development.
- Delivery Expertise: Comfortable bringing structure to complex projects in fast-paced environments, with an understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Analytical & Organised: Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and critical thinking to manage timelines and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborative Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders internally and externally.
- Proven Leadership & Technical Experience: Extensive experience as a Product Manager/Owner delivering API-driven solutions, managing suppliers, and leading cross-functional teams.
