The Opportunity Group is growing. The world of Apprenticeship learning continues to solve an ever growing gap in workforce capability and provides the essential funding support many business needs if they're ever going to focus on new and existing employee development.
This is your chance to be part of something truly unique. What we do isn't rocket science but how we do it is brilliant. We are on a mission to cut through the complexities of the apprenticeship reforms and funding to help organisations and their people access life- long learning opportunities.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Responsible for assessing projects, assignments and support individuals working towards an apprenticeship qualification. Deliver remote learner sessions and 1:1 review to support working towards and preparing for End Point Assessment. Ensure learners achieve and that a high quality of evidence is obtained.
To do this successfully and so we can track progress of learners, we have invested in MyLearning which is the platform you will work from to track learner contact, progress, action planning and feedback.
You will deliver 1:1 coaching sessions once per month (some delivery models may differ) with learners to support their progression against the knowledge, skills and behaviours within their programme. You will set targets with your learners, create action plans and where possible stretch and challenge them to exceed expectations.
Responsibility for the success of the learner at EPA is no mean feat, which is why a holistic approach to development is critical. You should know your learners, their context, their role, business and line manager inside and out. Natural curiosity is essential to know how you can support them in the best way possible.
This is not a standalone role, ultimately the success of a learner is your responsibility but it takes the whole OPG family to set you and your learner up for success. Lean on your team and support each other to provide a brilliant experience to our learners.
You will be your learners go to person from the moment they onboard on to a programme to successful achievement. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with every step of their learning journey.
What you can expect from us
• Flexibility, we champion flexible working and have invested in processes and systems to make your work easy to engage with.
• Learners who are committed to their learning journey and will challenge you to go the extra mile. Learners of any age and background from 19 – 65 years old.
• Working with learner populations of people for a period of 12 – 18 months.
• Remote working from anywhere, we have the technology in place for you to support, coach and engage with your learners in a high touch way, virtually.
• Working with Enterprise level clients and SMEs across all sectors from financial services, manufacturing, technology and creative.
About you
You will have one or more coaching specialism which will benefit multiple cohorts of learners. It is also essential that you obtain a TAQA or relevant qualifications.
You will love helping people become the best version of themselves while getting satisfaction from seeing people grow and build confidence.
You will be decisive, good at planning and organising, solving problems, adaptable and focused on achieving goals
*This is a fully remote role, you can be based anywhere in the UK*
