School Cleaning Operative – Sidcup DA14 4PX

Are you looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cover Cleaner on a temporary to permanent basis to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Role

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Keeping school facilities clean and hygienic, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
  • Ensuring restrooms are cleaned and well-stocked.
  • Helping to create a positive, safe space for learning.

What We Offer

  • Pay: £13.23 per hour.
  • Hours: Various to cover sickness and holidays only (shifts allocated will be Monday to Friday, 3:45PM – 6:15PM, and potentially an additional morning shift 7:00AM - 9:00AM - term time + 4 additional weeks = 43 weeks per year).
  • Training: Full training provided – however previous similar experience would be preferred.
  • Uniform & PPE: Corporate uniform and PPE provided

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Based locally in or near Sidcup, with suitable transport for the school location.
