We're looking for a confident, proactive
Sales and Events Coordinator
to join a leading and renowned venue to deliver exceptional events and building lasting client relationships.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll take ownership of event enquiries from start to finish, converting leads into bookings, fine-tuning the details and making sure everything runs without a hitch. You'll be the go-to person for clients, helping them shape their events while working closely with internal teams and suppliers to bring everything together seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming enquiries across multiple platforms and responding quickly with tailored, professional proposals
  • Guiding clients through the booking process, offering expert advice on space usage, packages and pricing
  • Hosting show rounds and representing the venue at networking events, exhibitions and familiarisation visits
  • Finalising event details with clients, including catering, AV, equipment, room layouts and special requests
  • Preparing detailed function sheets, checklists and schedules
  • Coordinating with suppliers, managing booking tools and systems and keeping accurate records of each event
  • Looking for upselling opportunities and supporting the wider team in meeting revenue targets
  • Being onsite where needed to oversee event delivery and ensure a smooth client experience from start to finish
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring feedback is gathered and acted on to drive improvements

What They're Looking For:

  • Experience working in events, hospitality or conference venues, ideally 2+ years in a sales or coordination role
  • A confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills and a calm, solution-focused approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple bookings, working to deadlines and staying organised under pressure
  • Familiar with CRM systems, booking platforms and standard office software
  • Someone with great attention to detail, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for people and events.
