Job Role

An exciting opportunity is available to join our company as a 3D Cad Engineer.

The successful candidate will be required to assist the team in the design of Industrial and Amusement Ride/Arcade Game equipment.

  • Job Title – 3D CAD Engineer.
  • Location – Merthyr Tydfil.
  • Probation Period - 3 months.
  • Employment Type -Permanent, Full Time.
  • Holiday Entitlement – 20 days plus Bank Holidays.

Essential Attributes:

  • 2 years experience using Inventor, understanding of Solid Works would also be advantageous.
  • Candidates must have the ability to problem solve.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high attention to detail.
  • Full clean driving licence is advantageous.
  • Must have experience in Machine Building and Fabrication.
  • The ability to populate Fabrication Drawings to be sent to Laser, CNC Companies.

Candidates will also need:

  • To be highly motivated & reliable.
  • The ability to maintain the highest level of workmanship and standard.
  • The ability to complete tasks accurately to agreed timescales.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to complete paperwork and understand tasks.
  • To work well independently and also as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

· 3D CAD design using Inventor and/or Solid Works.

· Communicates effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and Project Manager

· The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Details

  • Hours of work: 8.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime may be required if the need arises.

Starting Salary – dependent on experience.

Immediate Start for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
