Job Description

Join L&G as a Business Readiness Analyst (12 month fixed-term contract) and play a key role in delivering change and governance initiatives across our Retail Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technology meets business strategy. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, using agile methodologies to ensure our products and systems are ready for the future.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing technical debt across products and systems
  • Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to reduce risk
  • Influencing decisions on technical estate and identifying opportunities
  • Advocating technical improvements within product roadmaps
  • Supporting end-to-end delivery of change projects
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration between teams
  • Conducting impact analysis on technology decisions and costs
  • Gathering and analysing requirements to optimise technology investments

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in project management and business analysis
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle and technical debt concepts
  • Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with agile methodologies in cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with cloud architectures and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, Product Management) would be a huge plus
