Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly and fabrication processes. This role is critical to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The Fitter will work closely with other team members on the assembly line, utilizing various hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and parts according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes on the assembly line.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed, including operating forklifts when required.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs on machinery as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques is essential.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in operating forklifts.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
