Google Cloud Architect Manager

Location:
London (hybrid)

Salary:
Up to £90,000 depending on experience + bonus

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates for this role must be holding
active UK Security Clearance (SC).

We're looking for an experienced
Google Cloud Architect Manager
to lead the design, build, and delivery of secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions across high-impact public sector programmes.

You'll join a forward-thinking technology team that architects and engineers the infrastructure, tooling, and telemetry powering enterprise-grade cloud systems. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bridge deep technical expertise with strategic oversight and client delivery excellence.

What you'll do

  • Lead the architecture and end-to-end delivery of Google Cloud solutions for enterprise and public sector clients
  • Design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable environments on Google Cloud
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers, ensuring robust and innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Google Cloud Architect
  • Professional-level
    Google Cloud certification
  • Strong knowledge across GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, App Engine, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with
    infrastructure as code
    (Terraform) and automation (Python, Bash, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Proven track record designing and implementing
    secure, scalable cloud architectures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
  • Experience leading small, high-performing technical teams
