Waste Management Co-ordinator

Salary: £28,000 £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are seeking a Waste Management Co-ordinator to join our operations team and play a key role in ensuring compliance, organisation, and efficiency across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor programmes throughout the Civils process and implement waste management protocols.

  • Carry out line searches and navigate Cadent Section 58s and main oil lines.

  • Assist with the programming of works for contractors.

  • Manage Waste Management Protocol on Street Manager throughout project lifecycles.

  • Support the registration of street work permits.

  • Oversee workflow to ensure client SLAs are met.

  • Prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.

  • Maintain trackers, schedules, and accurate project reports.

  • Liaise with Local Authorities, clients, and project teams.

  • Manage sub-contractors to ensure timely submission of waste documentation.

  • Create and maintain site files (electronic and physical).

  • Lead weekly calls with sub-contractors and management teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

  • Experience in waste management or utilities (desirable).

  • Confident communicator with leadership skills.

  • Ability to take responsibility and work independently.
