Innovation Project Manager
to lead groundbreaking proof of concept and validation initiatives within one of the UK's largest hospital building programmes.

What You'll Do
You'll be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, leading pilots that will define the hospitals of tomorrow:
- Lead cutting-edge pilots
in smart wards, digital twins, and advanced building systems that will revolutionise patient care - Bridge the gap
between visionary technology and practical NHS implementation, ensuring solutions are clinically safe and cyber-secure - Drive scale and adoption
by validating innovations that can be rolled out across multiple hospital sites nationwide - Shape standards
by aligning breakthrough solutions with Hospital 2.0 principles and NHS technical frameworks - Influence outcomes
through rigorous benefits evaluation and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
What Makes You Stand Out
Essential:
- Proven track record delivering PoC/PoV or innovation projects in complex, regulated environments
- Deep understanding of NHS digital assurance, clinical safety standards, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Knowledge of Hospital 2.0, NHS estates standards (HBNs/HTMs), or Construction Playbook principles
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate multi-disciplinary teams
- Strategic mindset with strong governance, risk management, and benefits realisation capabilities
Highly Valued:
- Experience in healthcare construction, digital health, or smart hospital technologies
- Familiarity with BIM, digital twins, or interoperability standards
- Understanding of modern methods of construction and sustainability initiatives
- Project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2, Agile) or Clinical Safety Officer training
