DevOps Engineer with Active Security Clearance required join a high-profile digitisation programme for a Government Department. The successful candidate will focus on Azure application deployment and environment configuration, working closely with internal infrastructure DevOps teams responsible for Terraform and overall environment provisioning. The role is critical to ensuring smooth, automated deployments, environment consistency, and reliable release management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and automate application deployments on Azure Stack using CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimise application environments across development, testing, and production stages.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure DevOps teams responsible for Terraform-based environment provisioning, providing technical feedback and requirements as needed.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and work with development teams to resolve environment-related problems.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and compliance of application configurations in the cloud environment.
  • Document deployment processes and environment setup guides for internal reference and onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on work in Azure Stack environments.
  • Strong knowledge of application deployment, environment configuration, and release management.
  • Experience working alongside infrastructure teams using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
  • Active
