secondary school in Surrey who are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Biology Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-achieving school with excellent support, strong values, and a vibrant learning environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students aged 11-16 in achieving their full potential. You'll join a committed science department known for its collaborative ethos and outstanding outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • A teacher already based in the UK
  • Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
  • Someone passionate, enthusiastic, and confident working with 11-16-year-old students
  • A candidate who holds QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Right to Work in the UK is essential

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful feedback
  • Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and enrichment activities
  • Uphold the school's values, behaviour expectations, and safeguarding policies

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • UK-based with Right to Work
  • Experience teaching Biology at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
