Assistant Accountant

Apointe are partnering with a leading global business to hire an Assistant Accountant. This is your chance to work across multiple entities with a welcoming team that relies on your accurate approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Intercompany reconciliations: own intercompany balances across multiple entities, investigating and resolving variances with pace and accuracy.
  • Insightful reporting: prepare clear, engaging reports that explain what's driving Intercompany activity and what needs action.
  • Process improvement: identify opportunities to streamline and enhance Intercompany processes, making them faster and more reliable.
  • Month-end support: play a key role in month-end and year-end close, ensuring smooth, timely delivery.
  • Additional responsibilities: take ownership of smaller areas including payroll, pensions, and a dormant entity.

What You'll Bring:

  • Studying CIMA/ACCA/AAT with Intercompany experience (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Solid Excel ability and confidence working with finance systems.
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the drive to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a busy team.
