Join our innovative team as a Domestic S&R Engineer, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing household systems, ensuring a seamless and efficient living environment. This dynamic position combines technical expertise with practical problem-solving to enhance daily household operations.

As a Domestic S&R Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing household systems and appliances. The role involves providing high-quality service, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring all work complies with safety and industry standards.

We offer a great starting salary, alongside a bonus package , a company vehicle, Overtime, 23 days holiday per annum not excluding UK bank holidays. You will also be provided with a hand held device, phone and work wear.

Candidates to be based in or around the Gloucester, Cheltenham area or be within 1 hours commute to these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer service calls for repair, maintenance, and installation of domestic equipment. (CHB,BBU,HO)
  • Diagnose faults and determine the most effective repair or replacement solution.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and longevity.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if applicable) in good working order.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify any additional service needs.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and repair methods.

Experience

  • Domestic ACS, Gas Safe certificate or equivalent is essential for the role
  • Minimum 2 years experinance in S&R
  • Previous experience within a similarly diverse role is desirable
  • A full, and preferably clean driving license is require
  • HSE - WAH, Asbestos, MH (desirable)
