Our supportive wake night team are looking for a cheerful, friendly and reliable Waking Night Support Worker (or Bank Wake Night Worker) to support people recovering from an acquired brain injury at our rehabilitation residential service in Worsbrough, S70. The ideal candidate would be happy working on their own and within a team, be proactive and have a good sense of humour.

The hours are 10 hours per week from 10pm until 8am on a rota basis, which will include some weekends. The option to pick up overtime to cover night staff annual leave or additional day shifts is available.

Who are we?

We are an outstanding rehabilitation service that supports individuals with an acquired brain injury to regain their skills, confidence and independence with the aim to return home or to more independent living.

Role:

The successful applicant will assist individuals in developing a good sleep /wake cycle, offer reassurance and support overnight. This role also involves some personal care, cleaning duties and some paperwork to prepare the service for the next day.

We provide in-depth training and mentoring so there is no need to have a vast amount of care experience. What we are looking for is a kind, proactive person who enjoys working on their own and as part of a great team.

Please note mandatory training will be held during day time hours.
