Banana Moon Day Nurseries is excited to announce an opening for a Room Leader at our vibrant and nurturing nursery. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and engaging environment for the children in your care. You will be responsible for leading your team in delivering high-quality childcare in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Supervising and guiding staff members, providing support and mentoring.
  • Planning and implementing an exciting curriculum that caters to children's individual learning needs.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress, and engaging them in their child's learning journey.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.

You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and help them thrive in their early years.

Requirements

Requirements for the Room Leader position include:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, particularly with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety regulations.
