Overview

We have an opportunity based on the outskirts of Hereford, for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic and keen to learn individual.

We are looking for a highly organised, professional and motivated Marketing Assistant / PA to support the CEO.

This position offers hands-on experience across a variety of tasks vital to the smooth operation of the business, including logistics, marketing, and administration.

You must be proactive, intelligent and a hard-working individual, with experience using Microsoft platforms, looking to join a small team of experts where you can expand your skills.

Ideally with an interest in working within the Defence and Law Enforcement Industry.

The role would suit a practical, enthusiastic and motivated individual, with strong organisational skills, someone who enjoys multitasking, you will coordinate with the management team and engage in planning according to the needs of the company.

The Candidate must be diligent, discreet, and professional, with a high respect and understanding for Client confidentiality.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand visibility, drive sales, and promote products or services

Coordinate domestic and international travel and conference logistics

Manage calendars, including internal and external meetings, calls, appointments and events

Act as a gatekeeper for external communications (customers, distributors and suppliers)

Handle confidential correspondence and documentation professionally

Support internal and external communication scheduling for the CEO

Administration & Operational Support:

  • Book Travel and accommodation for staff company wide
  • Coordinate shipments to customers and international distributors
  • Oversee logistics for tradeshows, events and client visits
  • Track Inventory, office supplies, and consumables
  • Report on inventory, logistics and administration tasks to the CEO when required
  • Assist Directors with Ad-hoc coordination

Marketing Support:

  • Create targeted email marketing campaigns to build engagement, to drive leads and conversion to sales
  • Develop, plan, and execute social media strategies (LinkedIn)
  • Create engaging content, including graphics, photography, video, and written posts
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to messages/comments, and manage online community engagement
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications

Minimum requirements:

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Confident using social media management and analytics tools
  • Basic photography, videography, and editing skills
  • Brand Development
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and respectful of confidentiality
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of HTML, or design tools
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content
  • Familiarity with website management or development
  • Awareness of or experience using AI tools for marketing efficiency such as content creation, keyword research, analytics, or automation
  • Staying current with emerging AI and digital marketing trends, with a proactive approach to testing and implementing new technologies
  • Event Management

This is an office-based role.

Immediate start required

Working hours: 35 – 37 per week flexible finish on Friday

Job Types: temporary 3 months initial contract to become permanent.
