About The Role

Come and join our newly opening Day-care setting in the heart of Wallingford.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced EYFS Manager to set up, register and manage our Brand New Three Bears Childcare setting.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop Early Years skills while making a positive impact on children's development. Applicants should have experience working with children and hold relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare.

Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
• Supervise and support children's daily routines, including play, meal times, and rest periods
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in accordance with safeguarding policies
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development and daily experiences
• Lead small groups or activities, demonstrating management and leadership skills
• Assist with organising educational resources and maintaining a clean, organised learning space

Skills

• Proven experience with children, ideally within nursery or early childhood settings
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Organisational skills to plan activities effectively and maintain documentation
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the childcare environment
