Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in driving is advantageous but not essential. All positions are paid, including internships.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards and organisational policies
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues promptly
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Respond courteously to customer queries or concerns related to cleanliness or service quality
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or hazards

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
  • Valid driving licence is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn driving if required
  • Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
