Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing accurate information or directing calls to appropriate team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
  • Process payments and insurance claims accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and managing office supplies
  • Support the dental team with various administrative duties to ensure smooth practice operations

Experience

  • Previous office experience is highly desirable, particularly within a healthcare or dental setting
  • Administrative experience demonstrating organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills is essential
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Preferable experience in using dental software SOE
