Role Description

This is a Domiciliary hourly visits, on-site role based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, for a Care Assistant. The Care Assistant will provide direct support and personal care for Service Users in their homes, assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and monitoring health conditions. Responsibilities include building positive relationships with Service Users, ensuring their comfort and safety, and working collaboratively with family members and medical professionals to implement personalized care plans.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and foster relationships with Service Users and their families
  • Knowledge in general understanding of medical principles relevant to home care
  • Exceptional customer service skills to address Service User needs promptly and empathetically
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating independence when needed
  • Relevant certifications in caregiving, nursing, or related fields are a plus
  • Prior experience in home care or healthcare services is beneficial not essential as inhouse training offered
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving
