Warehouse Operative

Location: Potters bar, Herts

Hours: 40 Hours per week.

Start Date: Week commencing 24th November

Pay: £ £13.21 per hour (depending on experience)

Tesora Technology Services is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative on an initial temporary contract to support our busy operations for an initial 5-week period. There are likely to be opportunities for further work beyond this contract.

About the Role

This is primarily a warehouse-based position. Your main responsibilities will include supporting daily warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, stock handling, and goods-in processing.

From time to time, you may also be required to assist with field collections—going out in the van as part of a two-man team to collect equipment. Depending on your experience and licence, you may act as a helper or a driver on these occasional jobs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
  • Goods-in processing (receiving, checking, and logging deliveries)
  • Accurate stock handling and inventory updates
  • General warehouse organisation and housekeeping
  • Occasional field work to assist with equipment collections
  • Supporting a colleague on collection runs, or driving the van if experienced/licensed
  • Helping the wider operations team with ad-hoc tasks as needed

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain high quality standards
  • Comfortable in a warehouse environment as the main part of the role
  • Physically fit for manual handling tasks
  • Positive, approachable, and a good team player
  • Calm and professional when attending customer sites on the occasional collection
  • Holding a full UK driving licence (preferred, but not essential)

Warehouse experience is a bonus but not required—full training will be provided.
