Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvements, and modifications to plant and services.
  • Minimise downtime and maintain equipment in optimal condition.

Qualifications
About The Role

  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship as in a mechanical or mechatronic engineer, preferably to HNC or equivalent level.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing background.
  • Proficient in the maintenance of mechanical systems: pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, vacuum systems, mechanical drives / gearboxes.
  • Experience in planned, preventative maintenance.
  • Experience in fault diagnosis in mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Preferred experience in equipment installation.
  • Preferred experience in fabrication and pipe fitting
  • Preferred experience of predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibrational analysis.
