To participate fully in the routine work of the Telephone department.

What we'll need you to bring

• Training and or qualifications required: Numerate, literate, communication and practical skills.
• Computer skills.
• Telecommunications systems knowledge
• Health and Safety
• Fire Safety
• Major incident knowledge.
• Good communication skills.

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have

• Educated to standard grade level or experience in similar role
• Computer training qualifications/ courses
• Ability to undertake training on department procedures/ processes
• Experience in similar post
• Computer Literate
• Good numeracy skills
• Good listening skills
• Well developed in interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work as an individual and also as a team member
• Ability to ensure confidentiality at all times

Contract type

• Permanent
• Part Time
• 28.12 hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Switchboard within University Hospital Wishaw.

The working pattern for this role: Nightshift - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights
