Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a school. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and students.

The Cleaner will work as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Clean and sanitise classrooms and restrooms.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure all areas are kept in pristine condition.
  • Provide exceptional service while interacting with clients and staff during cleaning tasks.
  • Cleaning during term time only
  • Monday - Thursday 3pm - 6pm
  • Friday 3pm - 5pm
  • Location : Upton, Chester

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
  • DBS check
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physically fit, with the capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving equipment or supplies.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
