Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cad Technician role located in Rotherham. The Cad Technician will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for high voltage electrical engineering projects. The role includes collaborating with engineers, reviewing technical specifications, ensuring drawings meet industry standards, and maintaining document accuracy. The successful candidate will also assist in project planning, revisions, and updates as required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining document accuracy
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of high voltage electrical engineering or similar industries would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in engineering, CAD, or a related field preferred
