Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Maternity Nurses to provide exceptional care for a mother and their newborn during the perinatal period based in a GCC country. These roles will commence in early January 2026. The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of maternal and infant health, ensuring that both mother and baby receive the support they need during this critical time. These roles require a blend of clinical expertise, empathy, and strong communication skills to foster a nurturing environment for families. This placement will be from 6 months and possibly up to one year. Separate accommodation will be provided as part of the package, as well as all travel costs.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive patient care to mothers before, during, and after childbirth.
  • Monitor the health and progress of both mother and baby, including vital signs and overall well-being.
  • Assist with breastfeeding education and support, ensuring mother feels confident in their abilities.
  • Educate families on newborn care, including bathing, feeding, and recognising signs of illness.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care if required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Offer emotional support to mother and family during their transition into parenthood.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles, particularly in maternity nursing.
  • Proficient understanding of human anatomy related to maternal and neonatal health.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with new parents during a significant life change.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage mother and newborn needs efficiently. This role is essential in supporting families during one of the most important times in their lives, making it both rewarding and impactful.

Pay: £160,000.00-£200,000.00 per year
