Role Description:
This job is responsible for preparing and reviewing documentation in accordance with bank policies and procedures to facilitate closings with the client. Key responsibilities include working on routine to more complex documentation as assigned by the Market Leader or designee and interfacing working with company vendors, legal counsel, line partners, and clients to ensure world-class documentation accuracy. Ensures that loan documentation meet bank policies and procedures and that work products are delivered in an accurately and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all loan documentation complies with bank policies and procedures, delivering accurate and timely work products.
- Conduct thorough reviews of documentation, perform due diligence, ensure collateral perfection, and monitor loan documentation for a designated market segment.
- Validate documents for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness, ensuring transactional details are correct and minimizing controllable rework.
- Review loan approvals and legal documents prepared by counsel to confirm consistency and adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
- Develop and maintain a robust filing and organizational system to support accurate and timely financial booking.
- Collaborate closely with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, Agency Management, internal and external legal counsel, and operational support teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Strong ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of global trade business and related financial processes.
- Proven ability to manage timelines, exercise sound judgment, and identify issues requiring escalation.
- Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across business units to achieve objectives and deliver projects successfully.
- Ability to act as a point of escalation and take ownership of responsibilities with professionalism and accountability.
