Christmas Decorator / Designer

About the Role:

Do you have a passion for Christmas décor, floral styling, or visual design? We're looking for talented Christmas Decorators and Designers to help create and prepare beautiful festive displays for homes, venues, and businesses across the UK. You'll transform spaces into breathtaking Christmas environments, bringing joy and atmosphere wherever you go.

Most of your work will take place at our Gloucester workshop, where you'll help prepare and style decorations ready for installation. There will also be opportunities to join our installation team on-site to assist with decorating homes, venues, and commercial spaces.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and style Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths, and other festive décor at our Gloucester workshop.
  • Decorate and install displays for residential and commercial clients when working on-site.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to refresh and enhance decorations from previous years.
  • Create elegant, cohesive displays using lights, ornaments, and other décor elements.
  • Ensure all decorations and installations are completed to the highest standard.

Key Requirements:

  • A strong passion for Christmas decorating and design, with a creative eye for detail.
  • Previous decorating, floral, or styling experience helpful but not essential — full training provided.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Comfortable working at height using ladders for decorating larger displays.
  • Flexible for occasional longer days or weekend work during the busy season.
  • Willingness to travel (if you support installs) — some projects may include overnight stays (with travel and accommodation provided).

Period: Late October until just before Christmas, with takedown and sorting work available from late December to mid-January.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gloucester GL2 5HS
