Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contract Manager specializing in Groundworks located in Luton. The Contract Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring compliance with budget, timeline, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with team members and subcontractors, managing on-site operations, addressing any project challenges, and maintaining client relationships. The role will also require adherence to health and safety regulations and detailed project reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management and Contract Management skills for overseeing groundworks operations
- Knowledge in Construction Planning, Cost Estimation, and Budget Management
- Experience with Stakeholder Coordination, Team Leadership, and Subcontractor Management
- Familiarity with Health & Safety Standards and Construction Regulations
- Effective Communication, Decision-Making, and Problem-Solving skills
- Proficiency in construction software and tools is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in groundworks and site management is required
