Job Description
ProspectBlue has partnered with a reputable firm in Norfolk, VA and is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of personal injury experience and thrives in a fast paced environment. This is an in-office position. Competitive compensation package and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Assist attorneys with managing a high-volume caseload from inception to resolution.
Client Interaction: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and gathering necessary information.
Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas.
Scheduling: Scheduling depositions, trials, and any other litigation related appointments. Assisting attorney with maintaining their calendar
Trial Preparation: Organize and maintain case files, prepare trial exhibits, and coordinate witness schedules.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury litigation.
Skills: Proficiency in legal research, document preparation, and case management software
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Team Player: A collaborative spirit with a passion for helping others and contributing to a positive team dynamic.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
