Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Support Worker based in Sheffield. The Support Worker will provide direct assistance to residents, ensuring their well-being and supporting their daily activities. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, delivering care tailored to individual needs, communicating effectively with clients and their families, and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. The role requires compassion, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Support Worker or in a related caregiving role. ( NVQ Level Two In Health and Social Care).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and the ability to handle sensitive situations
  • Technical support skills with a focus on assisting clients with any tech or system needs
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Relevant certifications or experience in providing care or support
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
