You will travel to customer sites to diagnose technical issues, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure optimal equipment performance. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Manage service calls, document all activities in the CRM system, and prepare detailed service reports.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the internal technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to product improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with specific industry equipment (e.g., CNC machinery, medical devices, packaging systems).
  • Familiarity with CRM software for service ticket management.
