An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a Learning Disability Events Coordinator to join our Learning Disability Service on a part-time basis (one day per week for two years).

Our service provides specialist health support for adults with learning disabilities whose needs cannot be met through mainstream services. We work closely with individuals, their families, carers, and partners across health and social care to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and coordinating events that bring together people with learning disabilities, their families, and professionals from across our community.

You'll be joining a highly supportive, welcoming, and dedicated team who are passionate about improving the lives of people with learning disabilities.

The post holder will work under the supervision of the Engagement Lead and Service Manager for Learning Disability Services to plan, promote and deliver inclusive events aimed at reducing health inequalities and supporting access to support and services.

The post holder will work closely with adults with a learning disability, families, carers, community groups, and partner organisations to ensure events are accessible, meaningful, and tailored to local needs.
