MSS Group (part of the RSK Group)
are recruiting for an experienced
Air Tightness Testing Technician
to join a team of assessors and technicians delivering retrofit services for social housing clients in the
South of England and Wales.
This is a full-time, site based permanent position.

Key Responsibilities - Air Tightness Testing Technician

  • Undertake Air Tightness Testing (Blower Door method) in social housing properties in-line with the current ATTMA standard
  • Ensure accuracy of data and high quality of reports, including taking measurements and photographs
  • Be prepared to learn additional skills, such as ventilation testing.
  • Work in peoples homes alongside a retrofit assessor

Essential
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Able to demonstrate solid basic mathematical abilities to accurately measure buildings
  • Full drivers license
  • Willingness to work away from home often
  • Presentable and a good communicator

Preferable

  • Qualified Level 1 Air Tightness Tester, although training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Elmhurst or ATTMA Accredited
  • A good level of secondary education as a minimum
