Scope of the Role

As Industrial Designer, you'll lead concept-to-production development across a wide range of consumer products, combining creativity with technical rigour.

  • Create and develop product concepts through sketching, modelling, and prototyping.
  • Deliver production-ready designs for injection-moulded and electronics-integrated products.
  • Collaborate closely with UK and China engineering teams on DFM and CMF decisions.
  • Present ideas visually and verbally to stakeholders across the business.
  • Support the build of a new in-house R&D and design capability.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or similar discipline.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Designer or Product Designer delivering mass-produced consumer goods.
  • Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred; SolidWorks or Creo acceptable).
  • Strong sketching, ideation, and visualisation skills using KeyShot and Adobe CC.
  • In-depth knowledge of DFM, injection moulding, and assembly processes.
