Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Brewing the most fantastic quality beverages to the masses.
  • Stacking up sourdoughs, creating fat focaccia feasts and giving fantastic service whilst multitasking all of the above.
  • Day to day lists to be maintained - cleaning, date labelling, fridge temperatures recorded, filling up stock, quality control on food.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
  • Upselling products to customers to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, culture and performance.
  • Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management to implement new procedures or improvements in service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a restaurant, speciality coffee or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and best practices in food production.
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with both staff and customers.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Experience in cash handling and using a till system.
  • Hours of work can be between 6.30am - 5.00pm. Some evenings may be required for localised events. However, if some hours are not suitable please still apply as we may be able to offer some flexibility for the right person
  • Hourly rate will depend on experience and minimum wage per age.

  • Must have a can do attitude and give genuine care and friendliness to our clientele.
  • Be prepared to think on your feet fast and take ownership.
  • Happy to contribute to the successes of the team.
  • Quick thinking and able to use own initiative in a fast paced environment.
  • Always does the right thing, not the easy thing.
  • Be the face of the brand and builds up rapport with the general public quickly.
  • Happy to be on social media and assist with creating posts and accounts. (Bonuses also paid yearly on behalf of criteria being met).
  • Patient with the elderly and young people.
  • If you like dogs, its a bonus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £12.60 per hour
