Responsibilities include:

  • To collate, move and check stock as appropriate ensuring Company procedures are followed and that physical quantities match the system stock, reporting stock levels using Prophet.
  • To return surplus stock to cold stores, ensuring it is de-labelled and scanned appropriately where required and returns are recorded in accordance with company procedures.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies using "Prophet "to create reports", investigate and challenge issues and escalate to the relevant departments. Reporting daily issues to night/day shift managers and the intake Champion.
  • In conjunction with the Intake champion be instrumental in the smooth completion of the year end stock count.
  • Support other areas within the logistics function during busy periods, holidays or as and when required such as picking/Loading and Lifting using MHE Equipment
  • Actively promote best practice in relation to Hygiene, Health & Safety standards, good housekeeping and support the Company's efforts to minimise its environmental impact and adopt environmental best practice.
  • To keep up to date with WFL production system and any continuous improvements, model zone, 5s, etc.
  • To look to identify areas of improvement, opportunity, innovation and communicate these to the relevant personnel.
  • Ensure any damage to equipment including MHE, Handheld Scanners, Pallet Racking and Doors, and any HACCP issues are reported without delay to the materials controller
  • Working at heights is essential for this role

This role involves working on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 06:00 - 18:00.

This is an hourly paid role, paid in monthly instalments.
