Butler Rose are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established accountancy practice offering full-service support across audit, tax, outsourcing and advisory. The firm is known for its strong technical standards and for creating clear career pathways for those looking to advance within specialist areas of practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their corporate tax experience within a supportive tax team, with the role developing into a Corporate Tax Advisory position.

Duties

· Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax advisory projects for SME and corporate clients

· Support senior tax advisers with research on corporate tax planning, reliefs, and structuring options

· Prepare technical notes and client reports to communicate findings and recommendations

· Liaise with clients to gather information and clarify tax positions as part of advisory engagements

· Support due diligence and corporate transactions (e.g., acquisitions, restructuring) from a tax perspective

· Keep up to date with corporate tax legislation and developments relevant to client advisory work

· Assist in preparing presentations and proposals for new advisory projects

· Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of advisory methodologies

What we're looking for

· Around 1–2 years' experience in practice

· Strong understanding of compliance processes and corporate tax principles

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Ambitious, motivated and keen to progress technically
