Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, concrete finishing, and renovation projects, with experience in various aspects of plastering and related trades. This role involves working on diverse construction sites, including residential, commercial, and restoration projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster, stucco, and other finishing materials to surfaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic construction environment. Must have own tools, PPE and transport

Responsibilities

  • Apply plaster and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and surfaces according to project specifications
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and effectively
  • Read blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements and specifications
  • Estimate materials and labor requirements for projects; collaborate with team members on project planning
  • Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety protocols on-site

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction trades such as masonry, plastering, concrete finishing, or related fields
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for various construction projects
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse projects including renovation and new construction sites
