We're Hiring – Sports Massage Therapist

Magdalen Road Gym | Oxford

Are you a qualified Sports Massage Therapist who's passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and grow stronger — both physically and mentally?

We're looking for someone who thrives in a gym environment where strength training for all is championed, inclusivity is non-negotiable, and body positivity is at the heart of everything we do.

At The Project PT, you'll work alongside a friendly, experienced personal training team, supporting our members through massage and recovery — or, if you're also a Personal Trainer, you can combine both roles within our team.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver sports and deep tissue massage sessions to gym members and clients.
  • Collaborate with our personal trainers to support recovery and performance goals.
  • Champion inclusive, body-positive practice and make everyone feel welcome.
  • Contribute to a clean, professional, and safe therapy environment.
  • Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with opportunity to grow to 20+ hours as demand increases.

  • Employed position: Starting salary £7,020 per year for 10 hours per week (Friday & Saturday mornings to start)
  • Self-employed option: 50/50 revenue split (Friday and Saturday morning to start)

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Sports Massage Therapist (Level 3 or higher)
  • A passion for strength training and inclusive fitness
  • A genuine, empathetic approach to working with clients
  • Willingness to commit to Friday and Saturday mornings
  • Enthusiasm to grow your client base within a busy, community-focused gym
