Kiosk Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to support our team in delivering exceptional service within our busy restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with regulations.
• Serve customers efficiently, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages with professionalism.
• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing attentive customer care.
• Handle basic maths for billing, payments, and stock management accurately.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive atmosphere by working collaboratively with colleagues.
• Assist in stock replenishment and organisation of kitchen supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude towards customers and team members.
• Basic maths skills for accurate billing and stock control purposes. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who wish to grow their skills within a dynamic team environment.

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
