Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative full stack developer with extensive UI experience to join our IT team. This role is integral to our technology transformation journey and chance to work closely with business. The individual will be part of small Agile team working closely in a dynamic environment. This is unique opportunity for someone with a broad FX products skillset to add value to existing team and contribute to greenfield project.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse the user stories requirement, estimate the story points / time and translate into excellent technical solutions. Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Design, develop, test and release microservices architecture solutions in a high pressure and time critical environment.
- You would be responsible to write integration test as part of the development process.
- Be able to quickly do UI PoC using wireframe technology to demo to business.
- Work in collaboration with other team members to achieve common goals / milestones.
- Provide technical support to production systems when required.
Skills
- Expertise in C# / .Net 8 / Python / RESTful / Web API Micro-services architecture.
- Must have extensive hands-on experience in Front End UI development using Blazor or React or NextJS. It would be ideal if there is some wireframe experience (Figma or other).
- Demonstrable experience building distributed systems using micro-services architectures and messaging technology like RabbitMQ or Kafka or Frameowrk like Dapr.
- Must have good experience caching technique (Redis or Protobuf)
- Must have full tools suite of Azure DevOps experience (CI/CD, Octopus/Jenkins Pipelines etc). Would be good if you have additional experience to setup DevOps and integrate them with collaborative tools like , Confluence etc
- Must have good experience in relational database (AWS RDS, SQL Server) and NoSQL database (Mongo or other)
- Experience with could technologies (Azure/AWS) and its authentications mechanisms to integrate into the applications
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Web API and micro-services best practices.
- Experience using cloud native framework like Dapr.
- Experience using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc).
- Good to have experience working with FIX protocol.
- Good to have knowledge in financial asset classes like FX Options, Forwards etc
Qualifications & Experience
- Education
: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering. - Experience
: 5-7 years' experience in software development ideally within FX front office business area. 4-5 years' experience in UI development using Blazor / React. 1-2 years' experience in Azure DevOps.
