Pay: £ £15.00 per hour + commission scheme
About Us
LC International Ltd is a growing welding, mechanical engineering and heavy plant specialist working with leading companies across the UK. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Part-Time Telesales Executive to help grow our welding consumables sales division.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with telesales experience who enjoys building client relationships and driving sales through outbound calls, lead generation, and customer follow-ups.
Role Overview
The Telesales Executive will be responsible for generating new business and managing repeat customer relationships, focusing specifically on the sale of a wide range of welding consumables including:
· Welding wire
· Abrasives and cutting discs
· PPE and welding helmets
· Anti-spatter sprays and consumable accessories
· Gas and welding supplies
· Welding tools and repair kits
You will maintain an accurate customer database, proactively contact potential and existing customers, and convert enquiries into orders. You'll work closely with the Operations and Purchasing team to ensure stock availability and smooth order processing.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct outbound telesales calls to new and existing customers
· Promote and sell welding consumables and associated products
· Develop leads and build long-term commercial relationships
· Follow up on quotes, enquiries, and previous sales interactions
· Maintain detailed records within the CRM system
· Provide product information, pricing, and cross-selling where appropriate
· Process orders and liaise with internal teams to ensure fulfilment
· Support development of promotional campaigns and email marketing
· Report weekly on call activity, lead conversion, and sales performance
Requirements
Essential:
· Previous telesales or telephone-based sales experience
· Confident communicator with strong relationship-building ability
· Target-driven with proven success in generating and closing sales
· Good telephone manner with professional persistence
· Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage own workload
· Basic understanding of CRM systems
Preferred (but not essential):
· Knowledge or experience within industrial, mechanical, welding, or engineering sectors
· Familiarity with welding consumables and related product types
· B2B sales experience
