Summary

There is an exciting opportunity here at Hyndburn Park Primary School. We are looking to appoint one permanent, HLTA with SEND experience to join our team. The person appointed will work in our Pod with our children who have Special Educational Needs. You will line manage two teaching assistants, be responsible for planning and be accountable to the SENDCo/Deputy Headteacher. You will also liaise and work closely with the class teachers.

We need a flexible, hardworking and humorous person to come to join our happy, capable and highly effective team. The appointed person will be expected to be fully committed to the values and the vision of the school.

Essential Qualifications

    Additional training in SEND, behaviour management, or interventions.

Essential Experience

  • Experience of working with children with SEND and/or 1:1.
  • Experience of working in a school or relevant education setting.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working in more than one primary key stage.
