Pacific are looking to hire a small works co-ordinator to join our growing team
The successful candidate would be working from our Ashford office (this is not a remote or hybrid role), within our fire detection reactive department. Completing administrative duties such as:
- Booking in works for the engineers, using our diary system
- Responding to emails internally and externally
- Taking in deliveries and checking their contents
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with sub-contractors for certain works
- Answering the telephones
- Booking in emergency calls and performing diary re-arrangements at short notice
- Managing stock levels
- Providing feedback to customers
- Sending on report sheets and closing down on the system
- Auditing reports and sending onto estimations team
- Working with other departments for best outcomes
- Problem solving to meet customer needs and expectations
Amongst other general office related duties.
All job-specific training will be provided, candidates do not need to have specific experience of the industry of our software. However, we are looking for a dynamic employee with proven experience working in an office environment, in a position similar to this one. We need someone to join the team with motivation and a positive attitude in order to solve daily issues that come in - working in the callout and reactive department.
Please note: this is not a remote working position.
We would also expect candidates to have a sound understanding and ability in the following areas:
- Microsoft office packages
- Good general IT knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to learn on the job and work within a team
- Problem solving skills
- Time keeping
- Organisation and self-motivation
