A dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Camden. The successful candidate will foster creativity, confidence, and a love of theatre in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons covering performance, script analysis, and theatre history.
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE Drama examinations and practical performances.
  • Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic talents.
  • Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs and school productions.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
  • Strong knowledge of dramatic literature, performance techniques, and theatre history.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and directorial skills, capable of inspiring students in the art of Drama.
